Rafel és el nom de l’arcàngel que té potestat per curar el cos i l'ànima. Ajuda al ser humà a mantenir l'equilibri entre l'emoció i la salut corporal.
Se'l representa com un peregrí, amb vestit verd, un bastó i una bosseta. Bastó per recórrer la vida. El color verd del vestit s'associa a l'ecologia i la protecció de la Mare Terra. A la bosseta duu el guariment. En el llibre de Tobit, l'arcàngel Rafel cura la maledicció de Sara i Tobit i la ceguesa de Tobies amb la fel d’un peix (que duu a la bosseta en la seva representació) La fel, font de sanació i regeneració, reapareixerà en la nostra obra en la videoperformace

Els teixits son retalls incomplets de teles d’alta qualitat, de llana fina i alpaca. No s’han modificat gens, acceptant els fragments que falten, deixant així contorns irregulars. A més, els retrats han estat dibuixats de forma incompleta, solapant els cossos. Retrats que evoquen el record i l'emoció íntima vers els moments viscuts. El dibuix simple, net i fràgil, ens ofereix la capacitat de revisitar el que s'ha viscut en la intimitat familiar, amb els fills, encara nens. El dibuix com a mirada terapèutica i sanadora sobre la convivència i el devenir.

Además, los retratos han sido dibujados de forma incompleta, solapando los cuerpos. Retratos que evocan el recuerdo y la emoción íntima frente los momentos vividos. Raphael is the name of the archangel that has the power to heal the body and soul. He helps humans to maintain the balance between emotions and bodily health.
He is represented as a peregrine, with a green dress, a walking stick and a small bag. A stick to walk through life. The colour green is associated to ecology and the protection of Mother Earth. In the small bag he carries the cure. In the book of Tobit, the archangel Raphael cures the curse of Sarah and Tobit and the blindness of Tobias with a fish’s gall (that he carries in the bag in his representation). The gall, source of healing and regeneration, reappears in our artwork in the video-performance Manipura. .
